1. Chinese painting

Ms. Chiu Wai Hing

Retired head of visual arts in a secondary school, with over 20 years of teaching experience.  She learnt to paint with Professor Wu YL, and calligraphy with Yu JF and Chang SG.  Exhibited many of her works in HK, China and Asia.  Some of her works were collected by the Sin Hang College at CUHK.  Currently artistic painting instructor and Chinese painting instructor at Kowloon Tong Soga kindergarten.   Chiu was Chinese painting instructor at Taipo area schools Chinese painting promotion program,

Earth & water calligraphy, painting & artistic school promotion workshop, secondary schools and Association for the rights of industrial accident victims.

Since 1993, she has been a guide at the HK Museum of Art, receiving outstanding service awards many times.  In 2013, she also joined the HK Heritage Museum as a guide to promote artistic development.

2. Pottery/3. Sculpture

Cheung Sing Hung (Sai Xin) is our school-based artist.  He loves calligraphy, painting and the teaching of sculpture & pottery.  He has exhibited his works and participated in large scale sculpture works in Lantau Wisdom Path and Tai Po Tsz Shan Monastery.

His works have been selected for the 11th, 12th  national artwork exhibition. 

Before joining CCS, Sai Xin was the instructor of pottery & sculpture at many schools. 

He has started the “Sai Xin artistic workshop”, focusing on teaching and creative pursuits.

4. Chinese calligraphy

Ms. Lai Kit Woo

Ms. Lai has 10 years teaching experience in Chinese calligraphy, studying from masters Wong Kan & Shek TY.  A graduate of the Taiwan National University in foreign languages and Chinese art history, she has worked in journalism for 17 years and set up the Chinese art news site.  Currently, Ms. Lai is the chairperson of the Ethics cultivation & learning association, actively promoting traditional Chinese culture and children’s education.

5. Verse speaking – Chinese poetry

Ms. Lai Kit Woo

She learnt to recite poetry and verses from the famous Lui QQ and Lam MK.

A graduate of the Taiwan National University in foreign languages and Chinese art history, she has worked in journalism for 17 years and set up the Chinese art news site.  Currently, Ms. Lai is the chairperson of the Ethics cultivation & learning association, actively promoting traditional Chinese culture and children’s education.

6. Art workshop – cartoons/ 7. Zen painting

Kwan Wing Keung

With over 20 years of teaching experience in visual arts, Kwan has received many EDB awards for guiding students to create.  He is good at illustration, mural painting, 2D design and comics.  Students enjoy creating graffiti through his workshop, learn to “observe”, train “feel”, enhance drawing skills and confidence.  They will also draw what they want in their favorite styles.
