Hello everyone, this is Mr, Jan. I believe my role as a teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of everyone I encounter. Through thought provoking activities, classroom discussion, and a comfortable environment, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their curiosity. I want them to feel that no question is too silly to ask.
I think it is important to continuously assess students' comfort and engagement in addition to their mastery of our content. I praise students not just for mastery of material but also for critical thinking, effort, curiosity, and creativity. I lead by example, always working to improve my own skills in these areas as an educator.
Creating a welcoming space for learning is so important for everyone to share their unique ideas and experiences. I work hard to make their school experience a positive and nurturing one where they love to come and learn.
