When I was young, a teacher said to me, “We study and learn to conduct ourselves.”
Those words have had a profound effect on me. The school is an environment for pursuing knowledge. It also provides an opportunity for children to interact with others and develop their character. I hope that students will be curious, keen to learn, happy to try and learn new ideas. They should also demand more of themselves and develop their character further.
